Real Patients – Real Results
Replacing the Missing Tooth Structure
- One of our patients, a young adult who had successfully straightened his teeth with braces, was left with worn areas caused by the previous misalignment of his crooked teeth. Over time, this wear had altered the shape and look of his teeth.
- To restore the natural appearance of his smile, we used anterior white fillings to replace the missing tooth structure. These fillings are meticulously crafted to match the original color and shape of his teeth, resulting in a seamless blend with his natural smile. By carefully applying these white fillings, we not only improved the aesthetics of his teeth but also enhanced their long-term durability.
- This approach enables us to restore teeth affected by wear, decay, or minor damage without the need for more extensive procedures like crowns. The outcome? A beautifully restored smile that looks completely natural, allowing our patient to walk away feeling empowered and confident.
- Before & After Photos: The photos above showcase the remarkable transformation. As you can see, the anterior white fillings helped recreate the patient’s original tooth shape, giving him a fresh, balanced, and natural smile. His newfound confidence reflects the precise care and skill that went into restoring his teeth.
CEREC Same Day Crowns
- The patient presented with significant occlusal wear on teeth #18 and #19, resulting in heightened sensitivity. The wear pattern was extensive, compromising the structural integrity of the teeth and leading to discomfort during chewing.
- To restore functionality and alleviate sensitivity, we opted for same-day ceramic onlays. These onlays were meticulously designed to restore the occlusal surfaces while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible. The before and after images illustrate the transformation:
- Before: The occlusal surfaces of both molars exhibited severe wear with exposed dentin, leading to pronounced sensitivity.
- After: The ceramic onlays were bonded in place, effectively restoring the lost tooth structure. The onlays provide a smooth, durable surface that not only restores function but also alleviates the patient’s sensitivity, resulting in a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing outcome.
- This conservative approach allowed us to enhance the patient’s dental health and maintain the integrity of the surrounding teeth.
Implants to Enhance Your Smile
- Patient Case Study: Front Tooth Replacement with Dental Implant.
- Background: Our patient lost her front tooth a few years ago and was using a partial denture to fill the gap. She felt very self-conscious about the space when she wasn’t wearing her partial denture. Seeking a more permanent solution, she opted for a dental implant to replace the missing tooth.
- Initial Consultation: During the initial consultation, we discussed the patient’s concerns and her desire for a natural-looking, permanent solution. We explained the dental implant process, including the design, placement, and restoration phases.
- Digital Design: Using advanced digital technology, we designed the replacement tooth to ensure it would blend seamlessly with her natural teeth. This digital planning allowed us to visualize the final result and place the implant in the optimal position for both function and aesthetics.
- Implant Placement: The dental implant was placed in the perfect position during a minor surgical procedure. The placement was done with precision to ensure the implant would support the new tooth effectively and look natural.
- Healing Phase: After the implant was placed, we allowed time for healing and osseointegration, during which the implant securely fused with the jawbone. This phase was crucial for the long-term success of the implant.
- Abutment and Crown Installation: Once healing was complete, we installed the abutment, which acts as a connector between the implant and the crown. Following this, the custom-made crown was placed, perfectly matching the patient’s natural teeth in color, shape, and size.
- Partial Denture Retrofit: The final step involved removing the front tooth from the patient’s partial denture and retrofitting the partial to accommodate her new crown. This adjustment ensured that her partial denture remained functional and comfortable while enhancing her overall appearance.
- Outcome: The patient is extremely satisfied with the result. The dental implant restored her smile, giving her the confidence to show her teeth without hesitation. The implant not only looks and feels like a natural tooth but also provides long-term durability and stability.
Implants to Enhance Your Smile
- This patient experienced trauma to his front teeth many years ago. Both teeth underwent root canal treatments and remained functional for several decades. Unfortunately, one of these teeth developed a vertical fracture, making it necessary to remove the tooth.
- After extracting the fractured tooth, we placed a dental implant to replace it. The case was challenging because the adjacent front tooth was darker due to the previous root canal treatment. To ensure a natural look, we matched the implant to the lighter shade of his canine tooth, allowing it to blend seamlessly with his smile.
- The final result successfully restored both function and aesthetics, leaving the patient very pleased with his new, natural-looking smile.
Preserve your natural teeth with our restorative dental treatments
Rather than live with an embarrassing, painful, or an unpredictable smile, ask yourself if it’s time to feel confident again by restoring your smile.. While we make aesthetically appealing smiles, we understand a beautiful smile must feel as good as it looks. Whether you have damaged, diseased, or missing teeth, we have plenty of options to rebuild your smile to something you’ve always dreamed of.
Our restorative dental care services include:
- Same-day dental crowns: Our office proudly offers CEREC technology to optimize oral health without the wait. With CEREC dentistry, our patients can achieve the best versions of their smiles without numerous appointments or the hassles of offsite dental labs. Our CEREC dental crowns use advanced CAD/CAM technology to design and fabricate your restoration in a matter of minutes. This way, our patients can enjoy their stunning, natural-looking smiles in as little as one appointment!
- Tooth-colored fillings: You don’t always need dental crowns to restore your smile when your teeth are damaged. We use composite (white) fillings to treat cavities and minor tooth decay. White fillings are excellent for treating minor damage without sacrificing the natural aesthetics of your smile. Tooth colored fillings are also a conservative treatment to close those unsightly black triangles.
- Implant dentistry: Looking for a permanent solution for a missing tooth? You are in luck! Eagle Family Dental offers implant-based restorations to restore your smile’s beauty and function for life. An implant is a titanium root secured in the jawbone to replace one or more missing teeth. Unlike traditional dentures, an implant won’t shift or fall out of place when eating or smiling. Are you missing one, several, or all of your teeth? Our Doctors offer single, multiple, and full-mouth dental implants to resolve numerous dental issues.
- Orthodontics: Do you have crooked teeth or a misaligned bite? These seemingly cosmetic issues can affect your smile’s function and comfort. We use Invisalign to correct bad bites, crooked and overcrowded teeth. Invisalign uses a system of removable, clear aligners to adjust your jaw and teeth comfortably and discreetly.
