Cracking a tooth always happens at the worst time, like before a special event or job interview. Eagle Family Dental in Arlington, Washington, gets it. That’s why Drs. Bryce Duskin, Gavin McNelis, Arezoo Holdaway, and Ally Mueller are here to save the day with a tooth crown procedure. State-of-the-art technology can have you walk into the office and back out the same day with a permanent crown on your tooth.
Same-day crowns work like a quick pit stop for your smile. There are no follow-ups, no waiting on a lab, just one appointment with a high-tech scan and a custom-made crown, and you’re done. One patient walked in with a broken molar and walked out eating dinner that same night. That’s the magic of CEREC.
Porcelain crowns don’t just fill a space. They match your actual teeth. They are the same color and shine. Unless someone’s holding a magnifying glass up to your face (weird move), no one will know the difference. A patient once joked that they had forgotten which tooth was the crown.
3D scans and digital models have replaced the old goop-filled impressions. It’s cleaner, faster, and a lot more comfortable. Instead of biting into a cold paste, we scan your tooth with a small camera. Dr. McNelis describes it as “digital blueprints for your mouth.”
Crowns aren’t just for emergencies. They solve a bunch of problems:
A crown can usually cover it if it’s weak, broken, or missing a piece. Think of it as armor for your tooth.
Porcelain crowns are tougher than they look. Once bonded, they can withstand the pressure of chewing, grinding, and everything in between. One patient called theirs “the MVP of molars.” Dr. Holdaway says that’s the goal—a function that lasts for years.
There is no need for a temporary crown that pops off at dinner. And no double dose of numbing shots, either. CEREC crowns skip the in-between step. We prep, design, and place your crown all in one go. Dr. Mueller says it’s about time-saving, but really, it’s sanity-saving. You don’t have to wait to enjoy a better smile. With CEREC crowns, you walk out with your brand new smile, not another crown appointment.
You won’t get a cookie-cutter crown at Eagle Family Dental. The team tailors every treatment to your needs. They ask questions and explain your options. Best of all, they never rush the conversation.
Dental crowns don’t have to be complicated. Whether you have a recent injury or a tooth that’s worn down over time, the team at our office can help. Call (360) 322-1251 or visit 20302 77th Ave NE, Arlington, WA 98223, to schedule your appointment. Let your next crown feel less like a chore and more like a relief.
