Registered Dental Hygienists
Susan has been a Registered Dental Hygienist at Eagle Family Dental for 27 years. She earned her B.S. in Dental Hygiene at Eastern Washington University and has been in the dental field since 1983. Susan particularly enjoys meeting the fun new patients she treats and the opportunity to help others become healthier and more educated about their health. She considers the doctors at Eagle Family Dental to be very knowledgeable in their field and good at making the work day stress free and fun! Susan feels rewarded as a dental hygienist when she is able to educate her patients on periodontal (gum) disease and then see her patients return with healthy teeth and gums.
Susan and her husband, Steve, have two children. Activities Susan enjoys outside of work include camping, vacationing with her family, and being involved with church. She and her husband have recently become empty-nesters, and have been filling that time with mission trips to Mexico to build houses.
Michelle has been an RDH since 2004, and part of the Eagle Family Dental team since 2012. She has always dreamed of being a dental hygienist, even as a child. Michelle grew up in Indiana, and now calls the Pacific Northwest her home. She has a degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene from Gulf Coast in Florida. Since Michelle has joined our office, she has enjoyed taking continuing education classes which have helped further strengthen her hygiene potential. Michelle enjoys working with her co-workers and our patients at EFDC because we are one big family.
If you catch Michelle on an off day, she is most likely spending time with her dogs Stella and Mabel or going to concerts. She is also a thrill seeker: sky diving, paddle boarding, or any new adventure.
